Index of Industrial Production (IIP) increased by 4.4 per cent in January 2026 to 99.3 compared to January 2025, mainly contributed by the increases reported in the manufacture of Food products (10.6 per cent), wearing apparels (12.5 per cent) and other non-metallic mineral products (3.6 per cent), the Weekly Economic Indicators Report of the Central Bank said.
