Each article is scored for factuality and categorized by its opinion level (Neutral, Mixed, or Opinion). By default, we show only Neutral articles — those that report facts without editorial slant.

We do NOT host full articles. Each listing shows a brief snippet and links directly to the original publisher. Click through to read the full story on their site.

5th Estate aggregates news by importing publicly available RSS feeds and sitemaps published by news organisations. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds are provided by publishers specifically to allow third-party services and readers to access their headlines and summaries. This is publicly available information that anyone can freely subscribe to using any standard RSS reader.

We respect each publisher's robots.txt directives and crawl policies. We do not bypass paywalls, access restricted content, or republish full articles. Only short snippets are displayed, and every listing links directly back to the original source so publishers receive the traffic.
