Three advocacy groups seek to resolve NIR power crisis

BACOLOD CITY — Citing years of regulatory inaction and worsening power outages across the Negros Island Region, three consumer advocacy groups announced that they would implement the “NIR Power Shield Stormbird Protocol” before the end of 2026 to secure the region’s electricity supply independently.
