Preparedness over panic: DepEd deploys proactive ‘Super El Niño’ protocols

EDUCATION Secretary Sonny Angara has issued comprehensive guidelines to help schools prepare for strong to very strong El Niño conditions forecasted by the state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) to persist through mid-2027.
