Tropical Storm Isaias is forecast to strike the US Gulf Coast as a hurricane

Tropical Storm Isaias formed Wednesday in the warm waters of eastern Mexico, and mandatory evacuations were issued for some coastal areas in Florida as forecasters predicted it would strengthen into the first hurricane of the Atlantic season before striking the US Gulf Coast.
