COTABATO CITY — The Senate has approved on second reading Senate Bill (SB) 1823, resetting the first Bangsamoro Parliament poll to Sept. 14, 2026, and the succeeding episodes every three years after, raising prospects to end what the author had lamented as a “cycle of disenfranchisements” in the autonomous region spawned by four deferments of the regional election since 2022.
