Taiwan moves senior navy commander to Coast Guard to strengthen wartime integration against China

A senior Taiwan naval commander has been transferred to the Coast Guard to boost coordination at a time when China has ramped up its maritime presence around the island, Taiwan President Lai Ching-te announced on Thursday.
