AMD buys Fei-Fei Li’s World Labs

SAN FRANCISCO, California — Chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) announced on Monday it has acquired World Labs, an artificial intelligence (AI) company founded by Fei-Fei Li, one of the field’s most prominent researchers, sometimes referred to as “The Godmother of AI.”
