CHRISTA De La Cruz, a Palanca Award-winning writer and well-traveled journalist, has seen firsthand the beauty of the country’s natural wonders and how human abuse and neglect have spoiled them. She chose poetry to enhance public appreciation for the first and trigger collective action against the second, believing that the art form can make its message linger longer in the reader’s mind.
