GOV. Sharee Ann Tan is championing the Green Samar Project through provincial and local government mechanisms that connect forest restoration with poverty reduction, climate resilience, peacebuilding and community-led development. The project formally entered its planting phase at the Samar Island Natural Park (SINP) Headquarters in Sitio Campo Uno, Paranas, marking a major milestone in a 50-year forest restoration and conservation initiative.
