Preparations for the 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) will continue under the current election calendar unless a new law is enacted changing or postponing the Nov. 2 polls. Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chair George Erwin Garcia said enough time is needed to distribute election materials to far-flung areas such as Mindanao.
