Two separate operations against loose firearms in Pavia, Iloilo, have drawn conflicting explanations. While the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Iloilo insists it conducted legitimate buy-bust operations, the Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) said one incident actually stemmed from a lovers’ quarrel.
