Republicans are descending on Dallas today to prepare for an unconventional midterm convention, convened at President Trump’s request, to try and rally the party ahead of a testy midterm election. Trump himself is slated to take the stage twice during the convention’s two-day run, as well as Vice President JD Vance, top congressional Republicans and several members of Trump’s cabinet.
