THE government has begun deploying fast-to-install flood barriers along the flood-prone San Simon Interchange and Tulaoc Bridge sections of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), two days after Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon ordered additional defenses following the massive flooding that paralyzed traffic last week.
