MANILA, Philippines — Filing a criminal case against Vice President Sara Duterte while she remains in office could “open the floodgates” to the prosecution of other impeachable officials, her lawyer warned Friday, as the defense team sought oral arguments on its client’s motion to quash the grave threats cases against her.
