Cebu’s first-ever pet park opens, allowing visitors to encounter animals up close by petting, feeding and engaging them in guided learning activities. The park, situated in one of the city's landmarks, features macaws, cockatoos, Vietnamese pot-bellied pigs, alpacas, sheep, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, Aldabra and Sulcata tortoises, spectacled caimans, Burmese pythons, iguanas, leopard geckos and red tegus.
