Coway on Friday reported sales of 1.44 trillion won ($1.02 billion) and operating profit of 253.2 billion won in the second quarter, setting a new record for half-year earnings on the back of strong demand for its premium home appliance lineup, accelerating rental account growth and solid performances across its overseas markets.
