Transport organizations have called off their transport strike, which was supposed to take place tomorrow. DOTr Secretary Giovanni Lopez praised the decision of the major transport groups to cancel the protest action. In return, he said the government has offered various benefits for jeepney and bus drivers and operators. These benefits include increased fuel subsidy and financial assistance.
