Dual suspensions elevate councilor to acting mayor in San Pablo

SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna — The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) formally designated Councilor Carmela Acebedo as acting mayor here on Monday, after the city’s elected mayor and vice mayor were placed under separate preventive suspensions by the Office of the Ombudsman.
