Syria’s Interior Ministry said on July 16 that it had intercepted an arms shipment that was likely destined for Hezbollah. The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), a state media outlet, said that “specialized security units carried out the operation after detecting a suspicious vehicle parked near the border. A search uncovered a cache of weapons that included long-range missiles, guided anti-tank missiles and drones.”
