​MANILA, Philippines — In a major development designed to significantly reduce wait times and maximize slot availability, the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) has rolled out a crucial system update to its online booking platform that will inject up to 340 additional appointment slots daily for seafarers nationwide. The update addresses a long-standing inefficiency in the Seafarer’s Record Book (SRB) and Seafarer’s Identity Document (SID) Online Appointment System (OAS) integrated within the eGovPH mobile application.
