Recommendations on possible wage adjustments in the regions are expected by September, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said on July 8, 2026, following the recently approved P85 daily wage hike in the National Capital Region (NCR). Speaking to reporters during his visit to Pulilan, Bulacan, Marcos said the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards are studying prevailing economic conditions in their respective regions before deciding on new wage orders.
