Almost 10 years had passed since my last Bali visit, and while there were obvious changes – more traffic, tattoo parlours and leather shops – what really stood out is the vibrant food scene that has exploded over the last decade. While a tasty nasi goreng from a local warung remains a highlight of any Bali trip, those also seeking higher-end culinary experiences will find a bunch of exciting new options popping up in the Canggu and Pererenan areas.
