Experts skeptical of Tehran's claim US will unfreeze $12 billion before talks begin

While the exact terms agreed upon by Washington and Tehran have not been publicly confirmed by the former, experts speaking to The Jerusalem Post on Monday put little weight on the Islamic Republic’s claims that the United States agreed to hand over $12 billion in frozen assets to Iran before the start of negotiations.
