The Senate should settle its internal conflict first before calling for a special session. This was stated by Palace Press Officer Claire Castro. She says this is what President Marcos wants. Castro also said the Executive does not see any constitutional crisis amid the leadership dispute in the Senate. She insisted that the administration only recognized and supported Acting Senate President Sherwin Gatchalian as the legitimate leader of the Senate.
