LOS ANGELES — Spanish actor Javier Bardem drew inspiration from the natural world to embody the disturbed protagonist in the TV version of "Cape Fear," bringing the character, previously portrayed by Robert De Niro and Robert Mitchum, to a new generation with different traumas.
