US labels two Brazilian crime groups as terrorist organizations

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The United States on Thursday designated two well-known Brazilian crime groups, the so-called Red Command (CV) and First Capital Command (PCC), as terrorist organizations, despite opposition from Brasilia.
