Recently, the Literature Translation Institute of Korea celebrated its 30th anniversary. As LTI Korea President Chon Soo-young mentioned in her welcome speech, LTI Korea has recently achieved two memorable accomplishments: the first Nobel Prize in literature awarded to a Korean novelist, Han Kang in 2025, and the establishment of the Graduate School of Translation, scheduled to open in 2027.
