Members of the Mandaya-Manobos tribe in Davao Oriental filed a complaint before the Ombudsman against Generoso Aguio, director of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples for alleged corruption. The tribe claimed that they have yet to receive P19 million in mining royalties because Aguio reportedly usurped their organization.
