Justice ministry recoups 139.6 bln won in criminal proceeds in 2025

SEOUL, May 25 (Yonhap) -- The justice ministry retrieved a combined 139.6 billion won (US$92.4 million) worth of criminal proceeds in 2025, while repatriating 274 criminals who had fled overseas, the ministry said Monday.
