Jonvic Remulla stays as DILG secretary, at least for now. This was stated by Palace Press Officer Claire Castro. Castro noted that President Marcos still trusts Remulla. She said there was no indication that the President would replace Remulla anytime soon. The Palace press officer likewise brushed off talks that former senator Antonio Trillanes IV and Remulla’s predecessor, Benhur Abalos, would soon take over the leadership of the DILG.
