China’s Ambassador in Colombo Qi Zhenhong yesterday stressed that maritime cooperation is essential for the Sri Lanka’s development, while noting that routine marine scientific research conducted by scientists of both countries in Sri Lankan waters has been delayed due to various disruptions.
