The Government has launched a project worth Rs. 450 million to encourage school children across the island to engage in sports. The inaugural event, chaired by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sunil Kumara Gamage was held last Friday at the Department of Sports Development, where the official distribution of sports equipment to several schools commenced.
