Higher Education and Education Deputy Minister Dr. Madura Seneviratne told Parliament yesterday that there are major initiatives to centralize the registration of all degree-granting institutions including state, private and non-Governmental organization to regulate the use of academic titles like Prof. and Dr. to prevent misuse.
