Actor-turned-politician Vijay, who made a blockbuster debut in politics by breaking the DMK’s and AIADMK’s traditional duopoly, has staked claim to form the next government in Tamil Nadu in a meeting with Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. However, sources said the governor is not convinced TVK has the numbers yet to form the government, explaining the formal position as of now, though the Congress has promised support and others are also expected to join.
