THE Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (Opapru) is accelerating the government’s comprehensive peacebuilding strategy, focusing on localized peace engagements, amnesty processing and the holistic reintegration of former combatants, who have disengaged from the armed component of the CPP–NPA–NDF into mainstream society.
