The contribution of the UAE's industrial sector to the national economy has grown by 70 per cent to Dh200 billion and investment in strengthening the country's industrial base is no more a choice but a necessity, Dr Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, said on Monday.
