Regardless of their age, clergy members command respect, and many continue to follow their guidance. The cases of misconduct among clergy were relatively rare a few decades ago. On the contrary, the reputation of younger clergy is increasingly being tarnished by various incidents. As a society, we need to put a stop to this if we are to move forward with a strong sense of social ethics and public safety.
