Another “milestone.” Another “strategic partnership.” Another shiny promise of investment, jobs and technological upgrading, this time wrapped in the sleek branding of “Pax Silica” or, more poetically, the so-called Silicon Peace initiative. Peace, apparently, now comes with semiconductors, artificial intelligence supply chains and a generous helping of geopolitical baggage.
