“Are we having fun yet?!” That hacky line from a beer commercial haunted Henry Pollard, Adam Scott’s unsuccessful actor character on the beloved sitcom Party Down, for much of the series’ short-lived run (and brief 2023 revival). Though neither the ad nor Henry’s career is real, and though Scott himself wasn’t especially famous when Party Down debuted back in 2009, it feels like the central question of his subsequent leading-man career.
