Macron appoints new chief of staff as ex-aide eyes Bank of France job

PARIS — French President Emmanuel Macron has appointed ambassador to Australia Pierre-André Imbert as his new chief of staff. He will succeed Emmanuel Moulin, who is now free to run for governor of the Bank of France.
