A concept paper proposing the creation of a “tobacco-free generation” comprising all children born after 2010 has been presented to the Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, and ministry officials, outlining a long-term policy framework to eliminate tobacco use among future generations.
