The air pollution in Metro Manila, which was caused by the Navotas sanitary landfill fire, has subsided to its pre-fire levels. This is based on the daily monitoring of satellite data from the Philippine Space Agency. The agency says the levels of nitrogen dioxide have decreased and are now comparable to baseline readings recorded before the fire.
