Whoever appreciates a decent ride would want three elements associated with it: comfort, safety, and efficiency. Providing such a service is no easy task. For more than seven decades, the Government has been trying to improve public transport for ordinary passengers in Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, a certain group of public servants appears to be undermining these efforts.
