In a significant move to address the escalating global conflicts, the Most Venerable Mahanayake Theras (Chief Prelates) of the three main Buddhist chapters in Sri Lanka issued a special “Urgent Appeal” yesterday (26th), calling for an immediate end to current warfare and the establishment of global peace.
