Opposition MPs requested the summoning of four individuals, including President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development, to testify before a Parliamentary Committee appointed to investigate and submit recommendations regarding the release of 323 containers from the Colombo Port without a mandatory physical inspection.
