April McLennan is an award-winning journalist with triple j hack, based in Port Lincoln in South Australia. She joined the ABC in 2019, after studying and freelancing in Europe, and has reported for the ABC from Tasmania and South Australia. She was named Young Australian Journalist of the Year at the Walkley Foundation's 2025 mid-year prizes.
