Trump extends ceasefire with Iran amid uncertainty over prospects for peace talks

US President Donald Trump said Tuesday the United States will extend a ceasefire with Iran until Tehran submits a "unified" proposal and bilateral discussions are "concluded, one way or the other," as uncertainty continued to cloud prospects for peace talks between the two countries.
