King Charles has marked what would have been the 100th birthday of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, with a tribute in which he said she would have been deeply troubled by current affairs. In a video message recorded at Balmoral Castle in early April, the king said Britain's longest-reigning monarch had 'remained constant, steadfast and wholly devoted to the people she served'.
