Water is a gift of nature that is essential for life. It plays an important role in human survival, agriculture, industries, and the environment. Preventing drinking water contamination in Sri Lanka is something commendable because still the majority of Sri Lankans, especially in far away rural areas, use wells to obtain drinking water.
